Jessica and I have been friends since we were six years old. I shared a locker with either her or her twin sister Kristen for eight years of my life. One year, Jessica and I taped wallpaper up in our locker and added a Barbie pool at the bottom. Very chic, the envy of the sixth grade.
Over the last few months, Jessica raised money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, which provides funding for childhood cancer research. She raised a total of $16,000 and on Friday...
...she had her head shaved! I think she looks great and has a face that can pull off the look. Since my head is so large that it has two or three moons orbiting it at any given time, I envy people that can do the bald 'do.
Such a great cause, and I am proud to call Jessica my friend, although to be honest, she's making the rest of my grammar school graduating class look bad.
