Confession: I planned on going to watch the Polar Plunge this morning. The beach where it takes place is three blocks or so from my house. Of course, because I have a few working brain cells left, I wasn't planning on PLUNGING, but I thought I'd at the very least watch and feel smug that I am smart enough to not jump in Lake Michigan on a 37 degree day in March.
These plans changed when I woke up and discovered it was 11:32 AM. Nicely done, world-shaker!
Anyway, Special Olympics is a great charity and I have nothing but respect for people who 1.) woke up at a decent hour, 2.) raised money for a wonderful cause and 3.) made themselves uncomfortable all in the name of charity. You're better people than me and I am thankful for that.
