This is a picture of the delicious cupcakes my sister Annie brought to our Oscar party last night. They're from Molly's Cupcakes and boy were they good. I think I'm getting into the swing of this non-diet thing because I ate cupcakes with no guilt and no frantic trying to add up calories in my head. I've been doing that since I was twelve years old, so it's quite the weight off my shoulders.
Anyway, down 1.2 lbs this week for a total of 7.4. I'll take it!
- My elliptical machine is still broken. Costco had the people who manufactured it get a hold of me and parts are being sent this week. When they arrive, a repairman will be coming to fix it. I'm glad, because in typical lazy-ass fashion, I didn't exercise too much this week. It's so much easier to get myself to do it when I don't have to leave the house.
- I went to visit my friend Anne on the south side, the land of my birth, this week. She's nine months pregnant and has a three-year-old, Marty. We went to Top-Notch for lunch. I grew up down the street from that place and have probably eaten there 2000 times, but it's still my favorite restaurant. I can't tell you how good it is to go there and order a burger and fries and not even think for a second about ordering a salad. Not dieting is great!

Good for you! Yay! Whoo-Hoo! (those cupcakes look GOOD!)
I LOVE Jari Love for strength training - except her last DVD which came out last May. But she has 4-5 good ones. No tricky moves, she's great about showing modifications, and not too annoying.
Thanks, Kim! I am going to have my old trainer show me a new routine, but maybe I will check that out to vary it up a little. Usually exercise DVDs just gather dust in my house. My attention span is a lot tinier than my butt :)
I too have a touch of the magic ADD dust and Jari is not boring - to me.
She does a staggered rep thing (lots of reps/light weight), I'm so busy counting that poof! an hour has gone by and my triceps hurt like an SOB.
She doesn't do anything tricky either, which is great because I have dyscalulia (which sounds either like a breakfast cereal for vampires, or something that needs to be sewn up asap.)
Sorry, that's dyscalculia (could have a touch of dyslexia as well)
Ya on the 1.2!!!!
Ha, Kim, I loved the cereal for vampires! They're very in right now. You should market that. Blood red milk.
Jess, thank you!
